Important Notes
-
Timing:
-
The first post you schedule must be at least 10–15 minutes ahead of the current time.
This is required by Facebook’s API for scheduling to work. -
Any other future posts can be scheduled for any date or time.
-
-
Formatting:
-
Always use the colon (
:) in your time format (e.g.1:45 PM, not145 PM). -
Don’t include multiple images or attachments — one image URL only.
-
-
Status updates:
-
Once a post has successfully published, the system will automatically update the “Status” column to say Done
-
This helps you avoid duplicates.
-
Tips for Better Posts
-
For the best visual layout, include your website link within the post text rather than in the separate website column.
-
Use short, engaging captions — around 1–3 sentences — to perform best on Facebook.
-
Avoid adding extra formatting (like bullet points or tables) since Facebook doesn’t support them well.
Once you’ve added your content and are ready to push the details to Facebook,
open this Make.com scenario, click into it and press RUN ONCE.
![]()
Make will then process all rows marked as Ready = Yes and publish or schedule each post automatically.
